Automations
Runs
Follow each run's status and step results, and stop a run.
Observability
Open an automation and switch the left rail from Editor to Observability.
The Runs tab lists runs with Contact, Status, Started, and Duration, filtered by date range and status. Click a run to see it on the graph: each card shows its Status and Runtime, any error, or This run did not reach this step. With no run selected, cards show Executions and Avg. runtime.
The Metrics tab shows the share of runs that are Running, Completed, Failed, and Cancelled, and the number of runs and emails sent.
Running → Completed
Running → Failed
Running → CancelledA run fails when one of its steps fails. A step that did not apply, such as sending to an unsubscribed contact, is Skipped.
Stop a run
Select a running run and click Stop run. Its waiting work is cancelled and it becomes Cancelled. An email already queued by the run is still sent.
Stopping the whole automation is different: it only prevents new runs, and runs in progress finish.
Retention
Finished runs and their step history are deleted 30 days after they end. There is no export for runs; record anything you need before then.
Read runs through the API
List runs with limit, after or before, and an optional status of running, completed, failed, or cancelled (repeat it or separate values with commas). Retrieve a run for its steps in graph order, with outputs, errors and completion times. A run that belongs to another automation returns 404.
The stop automation endpoint disables new runs; it does not stop a run in progress.
