Delay

How it works

Add a Delay step and type a duration in its Delay field, such as 10 minutes, 2h, or 1h 30m. The card then shows the duration as its title.

Durations use minutes (m, min, minutes), hours (h, hr, hours), days (d, days), and weeks (w, weeks), and can combine parts. Seconds are not supported. The longest delay is 30 days.

Trigger → Delay → Send email

Things to know

• The wait is stored durably, so it survives restarts of the backend.
• Editing the automation does not change runs that are already waiting; they follow the steps from when they started.
• Stopping the automation lets waiting runs finish. To cancel one run, use Stop run in Observability.
