How it works

Give recipients a way to manage their email preferences. Broadcasts generate a signed link and RFC 8058 headers for each contact. Automation templates can include the Opensend unsubscribe merge tag.

Things to know

RESEND_UNSUBSCRIBE_URL is an alias for broadcasts. Direct transactional sends accept topic_id for per-address preference checks but do not automatically generate unsubscribe links or headers. A one-click POST opts out of the selected topic, or all mail if no topic is present. GET only opens the preference page. Rotating BETTER_AUTH_SECRET invalidates old links.
