Team
Team roles
What members, team admins, and the installation administrator can do.
Roles
A team has two roles:
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Member | Everything in the product: emails, broadcasts, automations, templates, audience, domains, API keys, webhooks, logs, SMTP and unsubscribe settings, and creating exports. |
| Admin | Everything a member can, plus inviting people, changing roles, removing members, SSO, the team's name, slug and avatar, downloading exports, and deleting the team. |
Separately, the first account created on the installation is the installation administrator. Only that account manages Amazon SES: the AWS connection, sending regions, the public URL, the account email sender, and pausing or resuming a team's sending. Being a team admin does not give access to any of this. See AWS SES onboarding.
Manage members
Open Settings → Team. The Members tab lists each member's Email, Role and whether they enabled MFA. Admins see Invite and, on each other member's row, Change role to Admin or Change role to Member and Remove from team. A team always keeps at least one admin: promote another member before you demote or remove the last one.
On your own row, Leave team removes you. If you are the only member, leaving deletes the team after confirmation. Domain cleanup must finish before a team can be deleted.
The Authorized apps tab lists the OAuth apps team members have authorized.
Team settings
The Overview card holds the team's Avatar (PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 1 MB), Team name, and Slug. Only admins can change them.
Delete a team
Admins see Delete team at the bottom of Settings → Team. Type the team's name to confirm. Deleting removes all of the team's data and stops its sending and receiving. A team that still has domains cannot be deleted: delete its domains first and wait for their cleanup to finish.
