Usage
See your team's email volume and audience size, and the shared Amazon SES quota.
The Usage page
Open Settings → Usage. A self-hosted installation has no billing plan, so the page only reports what your team has used. Email totals use UTC calendar days and months.
| Card | Shows | Limit | Resets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emails today | Emails sent plus emails received today | The Amazon SES daily quota of the installation's default region, or Unavailable when none is recorded | Midnight UTC |
| Emails this month | Emails sent plus emails received this month | Unlimited | The first of the next month, 00:00 UTC |
| Contacts | Contacts stored by the team | Unlimited | |
| Segments | Segments the team has created | Unlimited | |
| Broadcasts sent | Broadcasts the team has sent | Unlimited |
Each card reads used / limit. Emails today has a progress bar when a quota is available.
The shared SES quota
The daily limit is the Max24HourSend quota Amazon SES reports for the installation's default region, and every team on the installation shares it. SES enforces it over a rolling 24 hours, while this page counts UTC calendar days, and its totals include received mail. So the page shows how much your team used, not how much SES capacity is left.
The quota is read when the AWS connection is checked and when a region or domain is set up. The Shared Amazon SES quota note on the page says when it was last checked. If no quota has been recorded, or no default region is set up, the note says so. The installation administrator can refresh it from Amazon SES settings; for them, the note links there with an Amazon SES settings button.
To raise the quota, request a limit increase or production access for the region in the AWS console.
Use the API
GET /usage with a full-access key returns the same numbers, plus a few more:
